Common name:  Russian Arborvitae, Siberian Cypress
Microbiota decussata winter photo of form and brown leaves that are typical of winter. Russian Arborvitae may reach a height of 12 with spread of 10' wide or more Russian Arborvitae branchlets arranged in flattened sprays like Thuja. Microbiota decussata  close up of needles opposite, appressed awls. Russian Arborvitae leaves in winter, with ends gently nodding.
